MY BACKGROUND
I initially studied a bachelor’s degree in marketing because I wanted to help promote my favourite artists. While there were few opportunities to work in the marketing side of the music industry in Adelaide upon graduation, I began my career promoting live events for the university’s student union and a local theatre.
Looking to take things further, I then moved to Sydney to work on music PR campaigns for events like the Future Music Festival at youth culture agency, The Sound Campaign, and then abroad to Kuala Lumpur to develop digital campaigns and creative for brands such as L’Oréal at leading digital agency, Lion & Lion.
While I developed my creative and marketing skills, I still had a yearning for “the music”. And since 2017, I have worked in roles all across the industry as a singer, guitarist, bassist, songwriter, producer and engineer.
Throughout these experiences, I realise that not all music marketers understand the realities of being an artist and not all artists understand the practicalities required to market music. Consequently, my goal is to bridge the gap between these two worlds to help artists build their brand and find their fans.

Miller City Sessions (Tour)

Generated press coverage for a 100-event national DJ tour across Australia. Achieved 40,000 attendees, 369 media hits and 63.25M impressions.
Jack Daniel's Barrel House (Show)

Publicised a curated stage at the Future Music Festival featuring Kele and Gypsy and the Cat. Achieved 146 media pieces (100% positive), 25+ million impressions and 600k+ event content views.
Adelaide Open Mic (Event)

Rebranded Adelaide’s largest multi-venue open mic night to achieve increased retention and event attendance.
500 Nights of Winter (Show)

Debuted an Adelaide Fringe Show at Blackbox Theatres in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Sold out a 3 show season, achieved the highest number of livestreams at the venue and secured multiple live interviews and media pieces.
